Thank you for visiting Training 4 People, a small successful teacher training and teacher education company which is now in its thirteenth year of trading.  We offer accredited qualifications through OCR and TQUK.

Based in Norfolk, East Anglia, we deliver high quality training and development to businesses and individuals alike. We specialise in advice and guidance services (IAG), assessment and teacher education. We also offer a wide variety of support for organisations, whether voluntary, statutory or private.

We provide courses, support and consultancy at a time and place that suits you. On or off-site, to large or small groups, or on a one-to-one basis, our rates are very competitive. We’re always happy to make an initial, no-obligations visit to discuss your training or consultancy needs.

Training 4 People also offers coaching in areas that include presentation skills, equality and diversity, team leading and report writing.

Our Team

Trish Kreft

Teacher Training East AngliaTraining 4 People Ltd is headed by Learning and Development Consultant Trish Kreft, whose 35 years’ experience in teaching and senior management in the adult education sector have given her the skills and knowledge to help learners like you – or organisations like yours – get the most from continual professional development.

Alongside a B.Ed in Education from Cambridge University, Trish has a Professional Diploma in Post-Compulsory Education and a BSc in Mathematics, plus vocational qualifications in management, internal verifying and assessing. With personal CPD interests that include Deaf Awareness, Stress Management, Recruitment and Selection, Data Protection, the Disability Discrimination Act and Equality and Diversity, Trish has an impressive CV – although nothing counts more than her people skills and ability to inspire
 

Diana Bownes

Education Training East Anglia Diana began her career as a professional hairdresser and understands the need for clear communication, believing this to be the core to successful teaching and learning.

She moved into education gaining a BA in Inclusive Practice in Education, Certificate of Education, ILM level 3 Award in Coaching and City and Guilds Level 4 Understanding the External Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practices.  She has eight years’ experience of teaching the level 3 and 4 Awards in Assessing and Quality Assurance.

Diana also teaches level 3 Award in Education and Training.  Her guiding principle is that learning should be rewarding and enjoyable, with a little fun thrown in, to enable all to reach their full potential. 

 

Linda Birt

As a professional nurse and educator, Linda is committed to work based learning and the opportunities it offers adult learners in progressing their careers and achieving a personal sense of accomplishment.

Believing that learning works best when delivered and assessed in a well-structured professional environment, Linda is involved in training, assessing and moderating a range of qualifications including the assessor and verifier awards and Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector. Linda has worked within the fields of health and education for the past 20 years. She has just completed a PhD at the University of East Anglia and understands the difficulties faced by adult learners in balancing a career and home life with study commitments.
 

Diane Pearce

teacher eduaction Norfolk Di is a tutor, assessor and quality manager who, in her 15 years’ experience as a guidance worker in Advice & Guidance, has made a difference to many people’s lives.

She has NVQ Level 4, a wealth of experience and a teacher qualification in the lifelong learning sector, plus full assessor and verifier qualifications.
 

Diane Woodhouse

teacher training assessors east anglia Diane began her career in human resources and specialised in training & development when taking her professional examinations in personnel management. Since then she has trained adults in a range of topics, including accredited supervisory/management qualifications. She trained in facilitation skills and has completed a short coaching skills course accredited by City University, London. Her career diversified into supporting adults through change and she moved into adult guidance & has NVQ 4 in Advice & Guidance, and currently works in a range of settings delivering information advice and guidance to adults through Aim Higher, Nextstep and Response 2 Redundancy contracts.

Diane has considerable experience of delivering, assessing and verifying a range of Advice & Guidance qualifications & has the Assessor Award (D32/33) and Internal Verifier’s Award (V1), the level 6 diploma in careers guidance and a recent adult teaching qualification.
 

Rachael Darnell

teacher training verifiers norfolk Rae (Rachael) has over 20 years experience of working in an advice and guidance capacity, has managed many project based training related programmes and taught drama and theatre skills to young people in High and Theatre Schools.

She is an advice and guidance assessor and IQA, has NVQ Level 4, and a teacher qualification in the lifelong learning sector.

She enjoys working with people helping them to achieve and reach their potential.

Rae currently also works as a Advisor and Designated Safeguarding Officer




 

Debbie Wise

Education Training East Anglia Debbie has taught English to adults for many years. She started as a volunteer for Norfolk Adult Education Service, gained a Cert Ed and Literacy Specialist qualification and, subsequently, a BA (Hons) in English Language and Literature with the Open University.

She has an strong interest in dyslexia, and became a Dyslexia Specialist Teacher in 2012. She is now working towards a Level 7 qualification in psychometric testing and assessment.

Debbie loves teaching and is passionate about ensuring that new teachers have the tools they need to pass on their knowledge effectively.
