Teacher Education

Training 4 People is a recognised centre for teacher education in the Lifelong Learning Sector (LLS), offering through TQUK the following qualifications :

Award in education and training (level 3)

The qualification that all new entrants to teaching in the lifelong learning must take. We deliver the AET in your workplace, from as little as £430

We can deliver in whatever mode suits you: day, twilight, intensive, one day a week, one day a month… the possibilities are vast.

We have recently delivered AET to the following companies:

  • Norfolk Training Services (www.norfolktraining.co.uk)
  • People Plus
  • Purfleet Trust (King's Lynn)

So far, Training 4 People has successfully delivered 12 PTLLS (the forerunner of AET) courses to a total of 113 participants, with a success rate of 96%. Only three people failed to complete the assignments due to family and personal commitments.   We also now have lots of satisfied customers who've completed or who are about to complete the new award.

What people are saying about our Teacher Education...

  • There are few precious people who spread sunshine and positive thinking where ever they go – you are one of them! Your feedback on my teaching really did boost my confidence in my teaching ability – thanks!

    Priya Suresh

  • I should just like you to know that without your encouragement on the initial course, I would never have had the confidence to teach on my own.
  • I just wanted to say thank you again and to let you know that teachers do leave their mark. I always aspire to teach by giving students as much confidence as possible. Something you gave me, so I’m really just passing on the baton.
  • Trish Kreft, our teacher, understood completely the fragility of the mature student … She was teaching people from all sorts of different backgrounds and managed to model her teaching to suit all of us in the class.
  • Before this course, we thought we were teachers. Now we can better inspire others to learn.
